My name is Danielle Lowe and I am a senior studying dietetics at Michigan State University. I am friendly, loyal and a dedicated individual who will succeed in any given environment. I love to learn and help people and am always up for a challenge. I get along well with others, whilst also working efficiently on my own. I feel as if food choices impact a person’s life significantly. Prior to entering the dietetics field, I knew food choices were important to a healthy life-I just did not realize how important. The more I learned about the body and how it processes food, the more I understood how crucial it was to develop healthy eating habits in order to prevent, manage or even cure many diseases. This has made my choice to become a registered dietitian a very simple one; I want to lead people to a healthier, more enjoyable and pain free life.As an aspiring registered dietitian, I hope to go into oncology and to one day study research to find a nutrition related cure for cancer.
