In my current role as the MOM Grant Program Manager, I partner with New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to implement the MOM (Maternal Opioid Misuse) Model. The MOM Model is grant-funded by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services through 2024 and builds upon the Greater Manchester region's current opioid use prevention and treatment efforts for pregnant and postpartum individuals.As a Program Coordinator at New England EMS Institute (NEEMSI), I coordinated and supported various projects and initiatives related to emergency medical services (EMS) education and training. I also leveraged my background and skills in public health and emergency medicine to contribute to the improvement of EMS systems and outcomes in the region. I also served as a Young Adult Strategies Coordinator at Dartmouth-Hitchcock for a year, where I coordinated and implemented evidence-based strategies to prevent and reduce substance misuse and mental health issues among young adults in the Upper Valley. I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Dartmouth College, where I focused on health policy and clinical practice, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies from the University of New England. I am passionate about advancing the field of public health, and enhancing the health and well-being of individuals and communities.
