Recruited women and teens to a 6 week group for education and behavior modification with the purpose to reduce the rate of HIV infection among this population. Solicited and obtained funding and raised capital to expand services to clients.

Honduras, Central America

Organized training of more than 30 health workers in seven rural villages in Basic First Aid, Natural Medicines and Midwife training in conjunction with the Ministry of Health. Acted as a liaison between the Honduran Ministry of Health and rural health workers. Established monthly growth monitoring programs in seven rural villages. Wrote proposals and procured funds from USAID for trainings for health workers.
