Administrative Assistant
Working as part of a small team for a new project on a fixed term contract with lasted for 38 weeks. This exercise was to develop, implement and maintain an effective and efficient new organisational system. I quickly became a key member of the team, significantly contributing to the improvement of the process increasing the output, with the minimal guidance. I had also devised an aid to help others understand the process and the correct way to input the relevant information, and then often helped instruct a small team during over time. Due to the high level of work and the constant changes that had to be made I coped well under pressure and enhanced my communications skill, liaising with other departments effectively. During my role I had learned to use several databases and how to understand and input confidential data. Due to my good work ethic and high standards I had received an award in recognition of my efforts.
Sales Assistant
Help customers with their purchases, providing information for their projects. Due to my good organisation skills and my attention to detail I was then given more responsibility and put in charge of supplier returns. This involved direct communication with customers and suppliers. This involved dealing with customer queries, replacing damaged goods, ordering spare parts from suppliers and tracking invoices.
Key Staff
Working at the Old Black Bull really helped develop my customer relation skills. I started off as a bar maid but quickly became entrusted with more responsibility allowing me to supervise the bar unattended training staff as well as more responsibility with stock and money.
Multi Area Staff
Part time job while studying at high school and college. I was given training on several stations due to my enthusiasm to learn and develop new skills. At a young age I had developed a good understanding of great customer service and good work ethics
