Fourteen week Doctoral Capstone Project:• Lead researcher of a quantitative research study focusing on the relationship between the use of toy/object play and cognitive opportunities during parent child interactions in infants with neuromotor disorders.• Behaviorally coded 100+ videos of parent-child interactions, and video recorded numerous parent-child interactions in the natural environment of the infants/parents.

Twelve week Occupational Therapy Clinical Rotation:• Maintained a daily caseload of 6-7 patients in acute care on the surgical trauma intensive care unit, corrections unit, and the emergency department.• Administered evaluations, patient/family trainings, and interventions to ensure patient safety and independence upon discharge.• Created the first evidence-based early mobilization protocol to serve as a guide prior to and during early mobilization in the STICU. Presented during an in-service with implementation across future OTs working in the STICU.
