As a Human Resources manager for the Home Depot I am in involved in many aspects of the business. Recruitment and selection of new hires. Development of current associates to help them reach their career goals within the company. Performance management. Training and orientation of new hires as well as all training that is needed to ensure all associates have all the knowledge and tools to perform their jobs. Team building and taking care of our people is a big responsibility, with rewards and recognition to ensure our associates stay with our company and are productive.Work with district business partners to ensure store metrics are met, eg forecasting sales, staffing planning,WSIB and safety metrics, associate metrics,and scheduling all departments floor coverage and hours strategically putting the right people in the right places at the right times to increase our customer service metrics.
