Current- Maintaining a high level of knowledge on industry upcoming releases, bestsellers, and social media hot titles in order to recommend relevant books for customers and maximize daily sales.- Monitoring store phone calls, checking in author event attendees, dispersing special orders, and answering general customer questions to increase customer relations as the first point of contact within the store. - Resolving issues regarding online orders, inventory control, event ticketing, and overall customer satisfaction in an effort to preserve store efficiency and reputation.
