Danielle Phillips is in her first year as Sales Manager for Crisp Event Rentals, a party and event rental company specializing in custom high end event rentals in Columbia, SC and surrounding markets. Prior to her tenure with Crisp, Danielle held the position of General Manager for Southern Way Catering in Columbia, South Carolina. Previously, Danielle served as Director of Hospitality for Southern Way Catering's Athletics Division at the University of South Carolina. Though originally from Manitoba, Canada, Danielle was raised in Knoxville, Tennessee where she attended The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She graduated in May of 2014 with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Business. Before graduation her internship with Tennessee Athletic Hospitality allowed her to practice her managerial and communication skills while overseeing premium seating operations on game days and during special events. After graduation Danielle went on to manage premium seating at the University of South Carolina and Duke University for The Colonnade Group. Danielle then accepted a position with Southern Way Catering, a steeple in the Columbia events community for more than 40 years, and relocated back to South Carolina. The fast-paced atmosphere that comes with the hospitality industry along with the detail and level of service required to offer high-end client experiences provide Danielle with a constant challenge that she enjoys every day.
