I was responsible for maintaining the image of the restaurant in the way that I set up for customers as well as my own actions and in training others. I learned to manage my time and prioritize my tasks in a fast paced environment; while also taking the time to build rapport with the people I was serving. Because of this job I am confident in myself and my abilities to: remain level headed under stress, anticipate the needs of others and carry a very large try without spilling.

I screened internship candidates while also acting as an advocate for the interests of The Borgen Project. I enacted a fundraising campaign for the organization, contacted members of congress on behalf of specific target bills, and oversaw data entry for job postings. This job taught me to have a strict attention to detail while preforming data entry, to remain motivated during tedious tasks and to be comfortable talking about money.
