Current- Facilitates team efforts to meet organization mission, goals, and objectives. - Coordinates program improvement to increase Veteran awareness of programs and new initiatives to improve access to care. - Identifies existing or potential problems and barriers to care. - Coordinates scheduling and manages Language Interpreter services for patients and family members.- Performs work related to the practical and technical aspects of office administration including issues related to… Show more - Facilitates team efforts to meet organization mission, goals, and objectives. - Coordinates program improvement to increase Veteran awareness of programs and new initiatives to improve access to care. - Identifies existing or potential problems and barriers to care. - Coordinates scheduling and manages Language Interpreter services for patients and family members.- Performs work related to the practical and technical aspects of office administration including issues related to budgeting, supply management, purchasing, time keeping, and project tracking. - Serves as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR) for department contracts.- Oversees and monitors Notary services and the status of employees serving as Notary Publics, to ensure an adequate level of Notary Service is preserved at all times for Veterans receiving medical care. - Manages Lost and Found program for facility in accordance with all policies and procedures established. - Serves as an Alternate Timekeeper posting and certifying all timecards prior to established deadlines using VATAS/GovTA software. - Researches and submits purchase order requests for Patient Experience Section into correct Fund Control Point utilizing VISTA software. - Manages all non-expendable equipment while adhering to equipment inventory schedules. - Responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating official functions, honors, and displays such as the Nation’s Pledge of Allegiance, and the proper display of the POW/MIA table at sites and events. - Develops, designs, plans, and coordinates all logistical support for the functions, displays, and orientations to include scheduling locations, menu planning, budget development, set up and clean up, drafting and production of printed materials, and scheduling attendees. - Analyzes the effectiveness, impact, and outreach of each event and makes recommendations for improvement to existing events and for additional events on a reoccurring basis.
