I'm currently working at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida as a neonatal intensive care RN. This has been my dream since graduating nursing school. The last 3+ years there have taught me a lot, and I feel that I’m growing and thriving as a nurse on my unit. I orient new employees, and precept new nurse residents, sharing the knowledge I’ve gained feels wonderful. I’ve gone on to become high risk delivery certified, and am learning my role as a charge nurse. I’m very excited to continue growing in my current and evolving roles.I've previously worked in an endoscopy unit at an outpatient facility, as well as in inpatient acute care settings. I've gained experience in admitting patients, starting IV's, blood drawing, PACU, and worked at both a primary stroke center, and a comprehensive stroke center.I'm currently hold nursing licenses in both New York and Florida. I am a certified breastfeeding counselor, BLS, and NRP certified.
