Assistant Test Officer
• Planned, developed, designed, and directed a $378,000 effort to test the next generation soldier survivability system. This included integrating customer requirements into a comprehensive test plan that was fully coordinated with five contributing agencies and organizations, established responsibilities and set expectations, managed test budget, schedule, and supervised personnel, assured that commitments to the customer were met, and served as the Test Center’s primary point of contact for the customer and other external agencies on the test. • Effectively streamlined the semi-annual shipping and receiving process and procedures with three separate, remote agencies, for fourteen rocket motors while analyzing and implementing directives from higher headquarters, laws, regulations, and policies. This saved the program over $60,000 over the course of three years.• Assured overall management, control, coordination, execution and cost management for four separate test efforts all happening simultaneously. Tests included Tactical Vehicles, Missile, Air Delivery, and Soldier systems.• Managed over $20 million of inventory at a remote facility. This included coordinating with four other sections to work as a team in the inventory and facility up-keep. • Utilized Microsoft Project to develop and manage test milestones and cost estimates, from planning through execution of projects. Reviewed and analyzed cost reports to assure charges are all authorized and appropriate. • Planned and conducted periodic and special staff visits to incorporate active tests, range site visits, and command briefings.
