• Serve as NYSEIA’s point person for Long Island-focused solar issues and collaborate with our Long Island steering committee.
• Liaise with association members, industry stakeholders, and utilities to address relevant solar policy issues throughout the state, focusing on the residential and commercial & industrial markets.
• Lead a campaign of industry stakeholders to reform solar permitting on Long Island, and successfully received grant funding to advance NREL’s SolarAPP+ to streamline solar permitting.
• Write various documents for members including policy updates, fact sheets, summaries of large documents and reports, and NYSEIA’s policy priorities.
• Co-authored a report on the status of Community Distributed Generation in New York State.
