Responsible for 125+ travel claims each owned from cradle to grave. On a day to day basis I am tasked with analyzing documentation, interpreting policy wording, applying proper procedures and explaining decision making to customers. As a unit we work interdepartmentally to improve claims procedures, assist with training documents and share information regarding changes etc.

Responsible for adhering to QBE claims handling guidelines and completing activities by their assigned deadline. Given a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to, handling rentals, obtaining statements, determining liability, making appropriate payments, etc. Provide each customer with optimal customer service, making certain that all of their needs are met in regards to their claim and performing all the necessary tasks to bring their claim to completion.

Responsible for a multi-state caseload. Provided the State Farm customer remarkable customer service on a daily basis. Trusted with a multitude of responsibilities, including but not limited to answering incoming calls regarding a wide range of auto claims related questions, taking statements, making liability decisions, explaining coverages as they relate each claim, etc. Responsible for staying up to date on State Farm claims practices, insurance rules and regulations by state and computer systems. Utilized ECS ( Enterprise Claims Systems ) at a very high level of proficiency, along with several other computer based systems needed to efficiently perform job functions. Worked in a team environment; required to adhere to daily metrics. Organized weekly presentations for team meetings, outlining changes in computer systems, daily metrics, and/or daily practices. Worked closely with agents to quickly and efficiently work claims to completion.

Provided optimal customer service to over 50 accounts including but not limited to answering phone calls, providing information to current and/or potential policy holders, conducting individual interviews with employees to explain available benefits, and administrative work i.e faxing, filling out applications via VISIONS software etc. Created and conducted short presentations, explaining in detail all available benefits to large groups of employees for each account. Performed yearly analysis for each account regarding their tax files and available benefits for employees. Responsible for managing my own time and adhering to important deadlines by their due dates. Compiled weekly statistics on completed work and products sold, reported directly with home office located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

As the highest ranked student employee at McMahon 8, I acted most importantly as the liaison between management and student employees. I took on many administrative duties on top of my student worker duties (i.e. serving food, running/organizing food stations etc) and managed over 100 students while attending the University of Washington as a full-time student.Management of student employees included training, composing and delivering yearly reviews, delegating tasks, providing input on the daily activities within the restaurant and creating appropriate documents for reference to be used by new and existing student employees.

As a salefloor worker I was usually put in charge of a specific department in which I was responsible for keeping that department neat, organized and well stocked so as to stay appealing to the customer's eye. In addition, I had to use my customer service skills to ensure that each guest that entered my department received optimal assistance and acknowledgement. I also acted as an Operator, whom is responsible for answering the phone, and transferring calls using both a multi-line and paging system.The operator is also in charge of the fitting room and keeping that area organized, while working with security to ensure theft is consistently minimal.
