    Anthropologist, documentary filmmaker and photographer, fluent in Arabic, Spanish, French, Portuguese. Produced and directed two films including award- winning Beat of Distant Hearts. Was associate producer for BBC2 correspondent film Western Sahara: a Forgotten War.Photo Exhibited several times, solo and group. Invisible links at Spitz Gallery in 2002 looking at family life in inner slums of Old Havana in the solar and family life in the Saharawi refugee camps in SW Algeria. Founded Sandblast in 2005. Curated first cultural festival of Western Sahara with 20+ Saharawi artists from refugee camps in SW Algeria who collaborated with 50+ UK and international artists. Produced debut album Sandtracks of camp-based band Tiris which was chosen top of the world album by Songlines which gave it 5 star review. Initiated Studio-Live music empowerment project in 2010 and launched it with Sahara Nights multi-arts event at Roundhouse in London headlined by Saharawi singer Aziza Brahim.
