Acting Associate Division Director- ORD/CESER/ Homeland Security and Materials Management Division

Currently managing multiple facets of the National Center for Computational Toxicology research and development laboratories including but not limited to:-FAC-COR Level II, Alternate COR on Jacob's work assignments-Purchase Card holder, procuring and managing all laboratory supplies required for three Principle Investigators, one post-doctoral researcher, and three technicians. Maintaining monthly budget to not exceed purchase card limit. - Call officer on Government Scientific Sources BPA.-Manages SEE employee, overseeing administrative market research conducted properly in accordance with the EPAAG and FAR-Subject matter expert (SME) for NCCT Laboratory renovation- Facilities and Health and Safety representative ensuring laboratory staff have all necessary equipment to conduct research safely and efficiently.- Liaison and point of contact with interagency L/C/Os regarding facilities, operations, procurement, or scientific inquiries- Assist as needed in developing high-throughput toxicology determination assays.-Maintain and QA all laboratory equipment, point of contact, manages, and schedules equipment service contractsCurrently working on coursework to increase project management and process improvement skillsets to sit for the CAPM and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt exams.

-Integral member of the biochemistry group/downstream processing, in the development, troubleshooting, and optimization of SDS-page/Western Blot, ELISA, and enzyme activity assay for the identification and characterization of biomanufactured target proteins-Maintain detailed notebook records/ bi-weekly reports and open communication between other groups within the company

-Assisted post-doctoral fellows in molecular biology laboratory techniques including aseptic cell culture, transfection, polymerase chain reaction, SDS-page and western blot, and gene cloning-Maintained and organized laboratory areas-Order general laboratory supplies
