I spent the summer of 2015 interning with Nielsen as a Professional Services Forecasting Analyst in Cincinnati, Ohio. During this ten week program my time was allocated to the following five projects: 1. A live forecast for a client2. Creating a category playbook which would be a reference point for analysts on the forecasting team in a category they may not be familiar with3. A marketing research group project which allowed a group of interns to act as the client as well as an analyst. This project began with creating a new product idea, fielding the new product idea, analyzing the results, and lastly, delivering the results to the Nielsen team with recommendations.4. An HR group project focused on improving recruitment efforts on campus5. A self-initiated Forecasting Intern Handbook created to assist future interns and give them an overview of the Forecasting process at Nielsen
