I shadowed Dr. Kaeser for the majority of my senior year in high school. While there I learned my skills and became familiar with the clinical setting. These include, observing surgeries and examinations, preparing surgical equipment, mixing vaccines, restraining animals, and performing basic tests.

I performed my practicum at a none-profit organization that was assisting with the stray dog population while studying abroad in Ecuador for one semester. While there I was able to assist in surgeries, cared for animals, administered medications, and gained experience handling stray animals.
