As a school psychologist intern, I worked under a site supervisor and a university supervisor. I gained experience managing aspects of administering psychological examinations, analyzing data, interpreting data, and writing recommendations. I've assisted with behavioral and emotional problems and consulted with appropriate service providers. I collaborated among staff members, department members, and worked with case managers on a commitment to meeting the needs of special education students.

As a school psychologist practicum student, I assisted a licensed School Psychologist with daily activities. These activities included assessing students with appropriate batteries, observations within and outside the classroom, and report writing. Additionally, I gained experienced by observing several I.E.P.’s where the school psychologist presented the findings of the psychoeducational report to the I.E.P. team. I gained experience working with students from kindergarten to 8th grade with a wide range of disabilities and racial and ethnic backgrounds.
