Refined by my 5 years of experience in drafting, I am a self-employed artist specializing in pen and ink. Currently, I make landscapes and scenes with pen and ink on paper. Previously I have drawn portraits using graphite. I have over 10 years of experience learning graphite and 3 years of pens. The current projects I am pursuing are preparing to upload content creation on YouTube and designing postcards, stickers, reprints, and originals for my online store and pop-up vendor opportunities in the community.As I work as an artist, I seek opportunities to work in the community as a cleaner for a local company, in a cafe, or working with the public in Fairbanks until I return to school for the next school semester.Formerly, I pursued a career in drafting and construction before changing fields to the Arts. I spent 6 years pursuing construction through high school, work, and my time at the University of Alaska Fairbanks where I graduated with an A.A.S. in Building and Parts Drafting. I spent hours pouring over construction documents and AutoCAD designing them and blocks that would be used for the project or company and grew an affinity to simple, clean-looking, precise drawings like blueprints. The aesthetic of construction drawings drastically influenced my art: precision, crisp penmanship, emphasis on line usage, and black and white.
