I completed my Practicum experience at Foxborough Regional Charter School in Foxborough, MA. I worked with students from 5th-12th grade. The activities I participated in included:• Supported the FRCS high school and middle school counseling teams with 600 hours of on-site service• Met with individual students to address student needs including assistance with social-emotional, career, and academic concerns • Led small groups and whole class advisory lessons • Created and implemented a lesson plan on Respect for at-risk students • Produced reference guide for teachers and faculty on the subject of Trauma in Schools• Presented resource guide and research on Trauma in Schools at a Professional Development Day• Conducted risk assessments and crisis interventions as needed • Gained experience with the SchoolBrains platform for student information

I completed my pre-practicum experience at Furnace Brook Middle School in Marshfield, Massachusetts between May and June of 2018.
