•Provide comprehensive academic counseling/advising services to undecided and re-deciding undergraduate students in career and major exploration process•Supervise two full time professional staff members•Recruit students interested in The Ohio State University and University Exploration•Serve as point person for staff, students and other constituents in absence of Director•Lead Outreach Team consisting of 5 professional staff in identifying populations in need of outreach such as re-deciding students and program dismissed students•Lead recruitment efforts to attract students to University Exploration and collaborate with University Admissions to support the mission of Ohio State University’s Enrollment Management Plan.•Help students assess their academic strengths and goals in relationship to available majors/minors •Maintain knowledge base of curriculum and program requirements for all Ohio State undergraduate degrees•Manage administrative duties while proactively monitoring progress of approximately 151 student advisees •Design and implement appropriate programming to help students recover academically and choose majors•Collaborate with regional campuses to create Campus Change Workshop to promote campus change student success and retention by easing transition to Columbus Campus.•Design and organize Summer Orientation Seminar for 900+ first year students and 600+ transfer students each year •Present orientation seminar for parents and incoming exploring first year and transfer students with audiences numbering up to 120 people per presentation•Maintain confidentiality of student appointment notes and academic records•Teach introductory survey classes including specialized sections such as Honors and Themed Learning Community.•Responsible for web content for http://exploration.osu.edu incoming student sections
