Completed the 6-month Highland Hospital New Grad program in the Medical - Surgical unit. Utilizes nursing assessment and safety protocol to provide direct patient focused care. Applies critical thinking skills, under general supervision, as part of the healthcare team.

Worked closely with incoming nursing students and faculty to help instruct and guide during practical skills lab. In addition to coordinating and leading exam reviews, writing practice exam questions, and grading for weekly assignments. I utilized technology and my design background to create study materials and create instructional videos.

Assists Optometrist in day to day operations. From helping to manage patient appointment schedule; answers phone calls, emails, and text messages; placing patient orders; corresponds with vendors; and answering questions about services. I also help to prepare and process billing information and services for the doctor to review.

Provides non-medical support in different departments at WHHS. I serve closely with Nursing staff and assist with the non-medical needs of patients and their families. Common duties include: stocking general supplies, help to discharge patients, deliver messages, and give companionship.

Worked closely with Senior Graphics Specialist, vendors, and other departments to create effective design pieces. Tasked to maintain images and brand standards for samTrans and Caltrain.

Provides marketing support to agents, agent assistants, and office staff. Works to maintain brand standards for all areas concerning advertising, public relations, and other marketing tools.

Designing effective graphics for marketing signage primarily for homebuilders. In addition to creating artwork for in house promotional projects, responsibilities include producing directory maps and interior design layouts.

Working with Accolade Design to create exceptional plaques and awards to be shipped all across the country for all occasions. Creating layouts, managing production orders/supplies, and providing customer service/technical support.

Manage and organize purchase orders, invoices, expense receipts, vendor/customer correspondence, and project deadlines for a systems and measurements engineering company.

Worked with Minted.com to create quality photo cards and calendars for customers all over the United States. I worked specifically within the calendar team. Where I not only created calendars but did quality control to lead and ensure the whole team was successful.
