Campus Trendsetters is a community of undergraduate tastemakers at college campuses across the world, serving as the key insight group that informs Her Campus Media and its brand partners on the opinions of Gen Z.As a Campus Trendsetter, I participate in informative polls and surveys, have the opportunity to work as a brand ambassador for a variety of companies and network with fellow college students.

I work with brands to promote their products with an innovative method of Gen Z marketing on social media.

With this role, I planned fundraisers to raise money for the class and schoolwide activities, organized class meetings, and publicized events. This position strengthened my work ethic and taught me to take initiative on greater responsibilities. The leadership course runs simultaneously with this position and promotes student collaboration and individual responsibility. I aided their mission in creating an inclusive environment for all students while improving my time management skills, graphic design skills, and communication skills.

I attended Kiwanis led Division Council Meetings on a monthly basis to stay updated on their accomplishments and new service opportunities. I stayed in contact with different branches of Kiwanis to collaborate on volunteer events and achieve team goals. I improved my time management skills, professional communication skills, and teamwork skills.

My time was dedicated to improving the club, planning more events, and enhancing connections with the members. I delegated tasks to my board officers in a productive manner, while still making time to volunteer in the community. I helped raise money for charities and increased member involvement. During my presidency, I received the President of the Year Award and Club of the Year Award.

I managed the Instagram account for the Division by creating graphics to publish and keeping members updated on new information. I helped bridge the connection between the officers to the members by posting recaps of events and maintaining active communication.

I communicated with various volunteer organizations to find service events for members to attend. I updated the club's Google spreadsheet on a weekly basis and included new volunteer opportunities with all of the details needed.

I learned about medical equipment, handled orders, and organized patient information in the computer system. As an intern, I was also able to sit in during examinations the nurses or doctors had with the patients. This helped me strengthen my social skills and give me experience in the workforce. I also learned about optometry, health sciences, and medical careers.
