In this role, I am responsible for knowledge transfer and business development for Utrecht University and UMC Utrecht, in the area of life science, healthcare and biotechnology.
As part of the health innovation and medical affairs team, I am responsible for innovation and evidence projects for specialized nutrition in the neurology therapeutic area. I am currently the project lead for a cross-functional team working on a innovation project.
In this role, I am responsible for the research program for the Alzheimer's & MCI therapeutic area. Specifically, I am the discussion partner for Marketing, Medical Affairs, Product Development, Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Trials teams and I lead several projects from a research perspective. During the last 6 months I acted as ad interim Research.
I contribute to the development of new nutritional concepts for the Advanced Medical Nutrition division. I'm responsible for the initiation and management of neuroscience-related research projects with academic partners and contract research organizations, which includes involvement with contracts and patent applications. I am also responsible for.
During this secondment, I worked as global medical affairs manager in the Alzheimer's disease therapeutic area. My responsibilities included building medical competence and stakeholder engagement through advisory boards and creating materials, among other things.
As non-tenure track faculty within the lab of Patricio O'Donnell, I study brain development and how disrupted neurodevelopment can be rescued.
