Performed routine maintenance activities to preserve and maintain the landscape of an intact Gold Coast Estate originally designed by the Olmsted Brothers. Propagated a selection of rare tree species to enrich the arboretum's nursery and preserve endangered species. Renovated and redesigned a garden surrounding the Playhouse by removing overgrown plants and selecting new species/cultivars to complement and blend with the design intent of the landscape.

Led a crew in daily tasks and coordinated with the Gardens & Greenhouse manager and CELLA curator to upkeep the arboretum. Renovated the English Garden by installing a new hardscape and redesigning planting beds. Worked with a team to develop a plan for a new garden in the arboretum that would engage and educate the community.

Propagated plants for the Gardens' annual plant sale through a variety of methods such as sticking cuttings, potting up bare root perennials, and sowing seeds. Assisted with production of these plants by watering, pruning, and deadheading plants as needed. Learned about and serviced the infrastructure of the greenhouses.

Led students on plant walks and described key ID characteristics of shrubs, ornamental trees, evergreens, and ground covers.
