I have worked together with my father to run our family business, Training 26 Ltd for the past 9 years. Our company delivers a comprehensive range of IT and Management/Business Skills training courses. Our clients include SME’s, charitable organisations, local authorities, NHS and several blue-chip companies. Working within a small team I have enjoyed a flexible role and my work has covered all aspects of running and managing a successful business. We have now sold Training 26; my father is retiring and I am looking for an exciting new opportunityMy main duties at Training 26 have included:• Generating sales leads by liaising with clients by phone, email, web & face-to-face• Working with trainers & independently to customise training programmes for specific clients • Receiving course bookings and preparing paperwork via email & post out booking paperwork• Co-ordinating training courses - booking trainers, venues, equipment, installing software• Greeting delegates on training days/suppling lunch & refreshments• Office management - managing stock levels, course supplies• Maintaining & updating client and delegate training database – MS Excel• Preparing, customising & printing course materials/manuals – MS Word• Setting-up training room prior to courses - ghosting PC’s to relevant version of MS Office • Updating company website - refreshing SEO, updating course outlines and course calendar• Creating & emailing monthly marketing mailshots - via Mailchimp, MS Outlook etc.• Maintaining social media for Training 26 - via Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn

I am a trained marshal based at the Harrogate Paintball Centre (weekend work). My activities included coaching/marshalling activities such as paintball, archery, air rifle shooting, mini tank driving, team building activities and climbing/bouldering.Clients included corporate companies, school & university groups, kids parties aged 8-16 years, adults on stag/hen parties and the Harrogate based Army Foundation College who sent cadet soldiers on team building & paintballing sessions as part of their training.
