By helping design and product development align their vision, we effectively create styles that achieve product initiatives and resonate with the modern consumer.Both functional + emotional aspects are equal parts critical in great design and are central to accelerating category growth.My role: - Provide design + technical design leadership to teams across categories (APAC, PFG, Outerwear, and more)- Develop technical specifications for new apparel designs- Create highly complex detail sketches to convey design intent- Develop and QA prototypes + provide detailed feedback- Analyze fit and make critical adjustments before GTM- Collaborate with design leadership on ideas + help designers go from idea to reality- Provide high-level knowledge of garment construction to cross functional partners- Manage design & production schedules to ensure deadlines are always met- Communicate with vendors & suppliers about materials, timelines, design adjustments, etc.- Ensure complex Bill of Materials (BOMs) are set up properly as well as color + key info are inputted accurately- Develop clear documentation + tech packs w/ new designs, colors, + the overarching approach for better designs & faster production-Create detailed + visually appealing CADs for catalog and GTMExtremely skilled w/ new innovations, cross-functional Comms, garment construction, providing detailed documentation, + mentoring design & tech design teamsExpertise in Adobe (Illustrator, InDesign, etc), PDM, + fashion illustrations that drive ideation & collaboration Show less
