I obtained my M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration (HESA) from the University of Vermont in 2012. My role at Champlain College focuses on developing and maintaining an integrated student services department that receives over 16,000 inquiries a year by phone alone. In my previous role with the Community College of Vermont (CCV), I worked with diverse student populations as an employee of the education hub for first generation college students, low-income Vermonters and people relocated through the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program. I had a myriad of duties from directing New Student Orientation to developing and overseeing a facilities management database. I am ambitious, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, optimistic, and discrete. I enjoy my work as a supervisor of work study students as well as part- and full-time staff. I find fulfillment in helping employees develop as professionals and support them in attaining their short and long term goals. I also find fulfillment helping students learn valuable skills that will help them beyond their time in college.Outside of work, I am often reading Fantasy or Science-Fiction books (physical books and Audible). I love multitasking, so naturally I read while floating in the pool, driving to work, hiking with my four-legged friend, and baking or cooking a gourmet meal.
