Leading design efforts in the Analyze tools of Operations Center – where customers and dealers analyze farms, equipment, and operations. Managing project timelines and priorities for my team while also working with cross functional partners in design, engineering, and product management. Collaborating with data science and marketing teams to understand how the customers use our products today – and visiting customers virtually and in person. Maintaining high quality experiences by seeking feedback from seasoned Deere designers and communicating the “why” behind design decisions and following our design system standards.

Promoted from Senior Associate to Principal Associate.

Lead designer for a project to enable associates to create, research, and decision a customer’s dispute on a banking transaction. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business operations to decommission third party software while also developing a better experience for our associates on a newer internal application. Create frameworks to aide in delivery of requirements while facilitating conversations around business procedures. My responsibilities include interaction design, usability testing, content strategy, information architecture, research synthesis, and cross-team collaboration.

Collaborated with designers, developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to improve the User Experiences of Capital One ATM’s. Iterated on interface designs while I built design components, created a Sketch library, and documented our past and future designs and how we got where we are today. Tested these experiences by talking to real customers at our branches or in the Capital One User Labs. Visited branches to gain insights from real customers after we launched new features. Worked closely with developers to ensure designs are executed flawlessly, daily or weekly pull ups as well as QA sessions in the ATM Lab. Pushed the ATM Channel to modernize our digital experience.

2 seasons as an assistant coach for JV Softball.

Returned for a second internship for fall of 2014. Designed interactive games and activities as well as thumbnails and backgrounds for the website. Developed some activities in HTML. Found ways to use innovation and technology to modernize new projects. Organized brand guidelines, graphics, and etc to allow for quicker findings when designing for online. Assisted other departments with projects and workload. Also worked on a digital style guide for BeForever, an American Girl sub-brand. Stayed on as a remote contractor for 6 months to help out with the workload.

Contributed thoughtful design and design input for fork lift truck interfaces. Gave preference to creative solutions that matched the innovative culture of the organization. Projects involved individual methods of research (both theoretical and on-site), hand-drawn and digital ideation (including mapping task flows, user scenarios, and wireframing), experience testing, presentations, and critique.
