I believe:*that product is the value delivered to customers, whatever combination of software, services, etc. that may be *in the two inconvenient truths of product (H/T Marty Cagan) - half of our ideas aren't going to work and of those that do, they will require multiple iterations to achieve full value *in valuing focus, doing a few things well, and generating impact*that what you must do and what you won't do is more important than tracking every single thing your teams do *that product strategy and business strategy are related, but not synonymous*that healthy, empowered conversational currency in a product-led technology organization is around impact, risk, and confidence*in hiring smart, talented, hard working people, giving them the room to run, and managing to their strengths *leaders go first and should always be willing to do what they ask of anyone else*that I work with fellow whole human beings who deserve to show up as their full selves at workMy specialities include:*understanding and building for humans *proactivity and anticipating the needs of others around me *distilling complex, disparate sets of data into cogent, actionable insights*balancing the needs of the forest and the trees *identifying and solving for root problems *establishing alignment and buy-in from above and below *identifying inefficiencies in systems (product portfolios, organizational structures, etc.) and designing more effective solutions *advocating for the voices not in the room and finding ways to get them a seat at the table
