A first for the company which historically relied on brick and mortar, he effectively added and maintained a new stream of revenue to the existing business model, while creating a more cohesive customer experience.He also improved business processes by implementing several new systems and tools, thus better positioning the company for the launch of new, mono-brand showrooms (Molteni & C | Dada | Armani - LA). He launched communication and collaboration platforms such as Slack and Sharepoint, and digitized workflows to improve the customer journey through Adobe Sign. Before working at ddc, Dan held the role of Head of Operations for USM’s U.S. subsidiary, he was involved in every operational aspect, working closely with teams (U.S. and in Switzerland) to drive sales and optimize logistics and operations. These improvements led to a partnership between USM and iconic retailer Design Within Reach, which he spearheaded.Prior to working in design, Dan worked in luxury fashion e-commerce at MRPORTER, (NET-A-PORTER) as Sr. Retail & Buying Coordinator from 2011-2014 supporting both the U.S. Market, as well as the UK team.Dan brings knowledge, experience, attention to detail, and effective leadership skills to the table. He has a proven track record of conceiving and implementing effective business strategies. Dan is Venezuelan born (U.S. Citizen) and completely fluent in both English and Spanish.
