I am an experienced Network Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry. I am a Cisco Certified Network Professional - Enterprise (CCNP ENT). I am currently working to obtain the Cisco Certified Network Professional - Service Provider (CCNP SP) before moving onto Juniper certifications. I am constantly trying to improve myself by studying and obtaining more certifications. Networking is my passion!How I got into Networking - After graduating college, I was looking for a programming job, but I landed a networking job at EarthLink. At the time, my networking knowledge consisted of knowing what an IP looked like, but that all changed very quickly. I soon discovered a love for networking and ditched the idea of becoming a programmer. Within a year, I found myself really proficient at my job. I quickly became one of the best techs on the activation team with the highest installs on the team in my second year. After obtaining my CCNA, I was able to land a Network Engineer role at NRTC, where I currently work. After proving my knowledge/expertise and obtaining my CCNP, I was promoted to Network Engineer II, which is my current position.
