• Re-design department and job roles with the EMEA Finance Director from a team that looked after our seven Northern EMEA entities to all 16 EMEA companies in our newly created Shared Service Centre.
• Recruitment needed to increase team from nine to 15 (seven reporting to myself).
• Involved in the implementation of Concur across EMEA including initial reconciliations to ensure success.
• Transition of all work within EMEA to the newly created shared service centre.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance to local statutory and legal regulations whilst also delivering an accurate trial balance for the EMEA region.
• Rolled out Concur across 9 countries in EMEA and continue to be system administrator.

• Responsible for the Finance function for the UK & Ireland from TB to statutory audit including management of sub-ledgers.
• Tax computation preparation and submission including deferred taxation and adjustments for share options and intangible accounting entries.
• Manage a team of five covering the whole of the Finance function.
• Preparing all bookings of new contracts to ensure accurate revenue recognition under US GaaP in accordance with SOP-97-2. In particular, ensuring correct allocation of established VSOE rates.
• Calculating monthly sales commission & bonus payments and accruals.
• Provide cover for the Finance Director in the preparation and approval of commercial contracts prior to being sent to customers. Involved checking that the payment terms and product descriptions met Dynatrace.

• Manage a team of three, which included the recruitment and mentoring of a Finance Trainee through the AAT Qualification.
• Manage the AP function consisting of reviewing new suppliers and preparing fortnightly supplier payment file.
• Preparation of Quarterly Corp Tax Provisions, Annual Return and timely payments for both UK & Ireland entities as well as PSA and Form 42 returns.
• Preparing and submission of monthly forecast and annual budget file to EMEA Finance. Working with department heads to understand any updates that may be needed and reviewing forecasts against budgets, actuals to date.
• Cash flow management and forecasting.
• Responsible for statutory audit alongside the Finance Director.

• Preparation and submission of VAT Returns.
• Services revenue billings.
• Preparing monthly management reporting pack to US Parent Company, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet preparation.
• Meeting monthly with business directors to present and analyse consultant utilisation, revenue and margins.
• Monthly submission of costs forecast file to EMEA Finance.

• Maintain fixed asset register.
• Balance sheet reconciliations (including bank reconciliations).
• Preparation of accruals and prepayments.
• Checking employee expenses.
• Petty cash reconciliation.
• Cover for Accounts Payable.
