As the course is 6-month long, there are three different sessions throughout the week, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday that we would have to attend to hence requiring us to be committed and to persevere throughout the course in order to complete it. By being able to design and develop a meaningful solution we would be able to engage with global issues, that are not only regional or national, instead international as the issue that I would be pursuing will be related to health and the healthcare system. My project was “Medicine in minutes”, which is an app regarding in improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare in Kenya. The future of medicine program was crucial in providing essential networking links with important figures in society, and taught a variety of life skills, such as: public speaking skills and leadership skills.
