I am a Principal Software Engineering Manager in the Industry Solutions Engineering (ISE) group at Microsoft. I have been a software developer for 20+ years, written two books, numerous magazine articles, and spoken at hundreds of conferences. I utilize this unique experience to help developers be successful on our platform. Our team, ISE, works side by side with customers to help them tackle their toughest technical problems both in the cloud and on the edge. We meet customers where they are, work in the languages they use, with the open source frameworks they use, on the operating systems they use. We work with enterprises and startups across many industries from financial services to manufacturing. Our work covers a broad spectrum of domains including IoT, machine learning, and high scale compute. Our “super power” is that we work closely with both our customers’ engineering teams and Microsoft’s product engineering teams, developing real-world expertise that we use to help our customers grow their business and help Microsoft improve our products and services.★ I love to make professional acquaintances. Reach out if you want to talk. ★ I am not interested in having a large number of connections on LinkedIn. ☛ I have ONE SIMPLE RULE for those I add as a connection here. If someone asks me to meet you, I know you well enough to make the introduction. So if you reach out, make it personal, mention how we met, or why you would like to connect.
