As a Platoon Leader, I planned operations and risk mitigation steps for ~20 Soldiers utilizing over $5M of military equipment. To earn my commission as an US Army Officer, I attended a challenging 2-month "Accelerated Officer Candidate School." This difficult course focused on applied leadership skills in all aspects of military operations and demanded both physical fitness and academic excellence. Out of the more than 250 nation-wide Candidates that began the course, only 50% met the strict standards for graduation, of which, I was honored with the following awards:• 2nd Overall Honor Graduate- Based on an aggregate points scale spanning all training activities• 1st Academic Award- Highest overall academic marks

During the summer between the 1st and 2nd years of my full-time MBA program at the Carlson School of Management, I completed a 10-week internship within Deloitte US Consulting's Strategy & Operations Practice. As a Summer Associate, I engaged in various firm-wide developmental activities in addition to traveling to perform the following work for my Team's Client: • Developed a comprehensive Playbook outlining client-specific IT separation operations consisting of a ~120 page document and an additional 30+ accelerating templates to be applied in future divestitures • Created a customized, program-level MS Project tool and coordinated its utilization in the management of IT separation operations across 15 workstreams in support of a client’s $4B international divestiture

I launched TurboSource LLC, an aftermarket performance auto parts reseller, with two partners in May 2011 while still a full-time undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota. Working on the venture part-time, I eventually positioned myself well enough to successfully transition from business consulting to TurboSource full-time in Spring 2013. Before selling my shares to my partner in Fall 2013 to pursue my MBA from the Carlson School of Management, I successfully:• Strategically repositioned TurboSource from a B2C online reseller to a B2B distributor by driving an aggressive international dealer recruitment campaign that signed over 50 companies within 6 months and increased sales revenues over 300% • Launched a new product by developing an innovative application for an existing technology after negotiating with manufacturers and completing a competitive market analysis. The product was featured in a major industry magazine in 2013 and has since experienced constant profitability and sales growth

As a Business Consultant at Perficient, I worked with many talented colleagues to deliver business-driven technology solutions for our clients. I was trained in requirements gathering and later gained valuable experience as a Program Analyst/Coordinator for a 2-year program while on site at a Fortune 500 electronics-retailer. As a Program Analyst/Coordinator for this program, I was able to:• Design and deliver an original accounting-analytics tool integral to the management of a two-year program’s finances while modifying supporting business processes• Coordinate 12 project managers from multiple consulting firms to track the program’s $1 million monthly spend while balancing aggregate financial projections across seven capital-expense reports to successfully complete the program under its $16 million budget• Present metrics in the facilitation of program-level meetings regarding the scope of deliverables and the allocation of financial and human resources resulting in Perficient’s sustained relationship with the client

I enlisted in the US Active Army in September 2005 and spent over three years as an Air Defense Artillery Paratrooper, leaving as a SGT E-5 with an "Honorable" Discharge in December 2008 to pursue my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota. While an enlisted Soldier, I was promoted ahead of schedule for exceptional performance 3 consecutive times through the rank of E4 by my commander waiving the standard time in grade requirements.
