My current role includes:Social Justice Lead: In this role I am responsible for co-ordinating social justice projects at St. Kevin’s College’s senior campus, as well as supporting initiatives run out of our junior and year-nine campus. Such programs include a year-ten community service program, which sees 285 students visit almost 100 venues on a weekly basis, as well as promoting student voice and participation in local community projects.Teacher of VCE Business Management: Units 3 & 4Teacher of VCE Economics: Unit 1 & 2Subject co-ordinator of year 10 Commerce: A subject aimed at offering students exposure to commerce based VCE subjects: Legal Studies, Economics & Business Management.Teacher of Religious Education, which promotes a novel curriculum based on respectful relationships.Cricket and football coaching for years 10-12 as part of the Saturday APS sport program. This involves both training on one week night and matches on Saturday in each term.I have experience in Indigenous Programs, having worked with graduates from the Melbourne Indigenous transition school. I have supported their progress in both Literacy and Numeracy. This has included travelling to Howard Springs Quarantine Facility to continue teaching while students return to their communities during COVID-19 lockdowns. I continue to support these students in a pastoral capacity.

My role as a learning support officer was diverse and extended beyond the bounds of the classroom. As I completed my Masters of Secondary Teaching at La Trobe University, combining a full-time study and employment load, I was been able to develop my understanding of both theory and practice.
