I work on developing and investigating technological platforms to use in new products in all of our product categories.

Designing, manufacturing and bringing to market Garden and Crafting tools for the consumer.

Working under Professor H. Harry Asada, in the d'Arbeloff Lab, my researched focused on the design and control of a traditional robot: The Winch-Bot. This robot is simple in theory but uncovers a wide range of complex control and implementation-design issues.In addition to my own research, other projects in the lab have utilized my quick and thorough design skills by bringing me on as a "Design Consultant", helping groups with rapid design and prototyping of ideas.

I was the Laboratory Teaching Assistant for the premiere undergraduate robotics course in the Mechanical Engineering Department at MIT. The semester I was the lead TA I worked with the professor and the Guest Professor to develop the student design project and the final Acrobot-Control lab. I designed, prototyped and built the required lab equipment (robotic gantry, Acrobot) for each of the labs according to the needs of the professors and students.In the fall of 2008 I was asked to design and build the required lab equipment for the student design project, this time consisting of the framework for a minimally-invasive surgical robot.
