I've always loved new experiences. I spent 20 years as a US Marine with a focus on Security. Being a Marine helped me experience the world in ways that wouldn't have been possible otherwise. I've been able to serve as a Law Enforcement Officer, Recruiter, Small Team Leader, Platoon Sergeant, and Section Chief. My service also afforded me the opportunity to pursue my current career goals through education. I was able to achieve my Bachelors in Computer Science with a concentration in Software Engineering while serving as a Physical Security Chief for the most populated Marine Corps base in the world. After serving my country for 20 years, finishing in September 2023, I decided to take some time and commit myself to my family that stood by me during those challenging years. Since leaving the Marines, I have been able to support my wife and children in ways that I wish everyone could experience. Now, I'm ready to reenter the workforce with a renewed sense of excitement and energy. I have developed a passion for Software Development through my education and drive for knowledge. I want to contribute to the world by building products that people use everyday. I want to help improve on existing products to remove frustration or unnecessary roadblocks to productivity.I also find joy in being in a team and leading people.
