I was invited by the institution to join a research project funded by NYMTC & NYSERDA on the prospects to import to the NY area some foreign experiences on urban distribution centers, intended to improve service and environmental standards for the "last mile" of urban deliveries. At the same time I also attended the Executive Development Program jointly developed by the Rudin Center and NYMTC (New York Metropolitan Transportation Council).

We relied mostly on geospatial analysis tools as well as quantitative & qualitative methodologies from the social science to carry out studies on various topics intertwining with transportation: sustainability, accessibility, economics, benchmarking, regulatory frameworks and prospective analysis. In parallel I dedicated myself to disseminate our works in multiple symposia, conferences and postgraduate studies at UPC and UAB.
