Current• Design of tools to analyze the performance of applications built on top of the most popular parallel programming models used for cluster computing: MPI, OpenMP, pthreads, OpenSHMEM, OmpSs, CUDA, OpenCL, Cell/B.E., Java, Python, etc.• Design of parallel algorithms, distributed schemes and master/slave models to improve software scalability and management of Big Data.• Definition of new methodologies to automate the tasks of analysis and code optimization.• Participate in all the stages of the optimization process of scientific applications in a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative environment, including tasks of parallelization, measurement, analysis and tuning.• Disseminate knowledge through scientific publications, presentations in congresses, teleconferences, participation in cooperative networks and also training and teaching activities.• Knowledge and technology transfer to the market: Software porting, deployment to multiple target platforms and development of custom solutions for leading international companies and research labs: Cray, HLRS, IBM, Intel, JSC, LLNL, NASA, ORNL, Qualcomm, SDSC, Mellanox, etc.
