Graduate BSc (Hons) Architectural Engineering and Design Management at Loughborough University from a bilingual farming background. I consider myself to be a hard-working individual who knows that perseverance pays in the end. In Welsh, there is a saying "Dyfal donc a dyr y garreg" which means by tapping persistently, the stone will eventually break. During my time at Loughborough University, I had the privilege of working collaboratively with incredible students from different disciplines which proved that the best results can be achieved through working as a team, which is important in the construction industry. My degree included the use of BIM tools such as Revit and collaborative platforms including BIM360 which I thoroughly enjoyed using on many occasions such as designing sustainable Exhibition Centres and new Student Accommodations. For my final year dissertation, I researched into Transit Oriented Development, exploring the sustainable strategies used in urban cities and how they could be applied in future developments.In my spare time, I enjoy walking, working on the farm, playing the piano, woodworking, welding, and have recently taken on the challenge of renovating our 16th Century family home where I have gained practical experiences from various trades.
