My biggest strengths come from my ability to build relationships with customers and employees across a wide variety of employment. My satisfaction comes when working with others to achieve their desires whether it is solving a customer's problems or working as a team to achieve a goal. My ability to be calm and optimistic in situations have made this ability of mine much easier to come across.Beginning at Starbucks, working behind the counter with a small team in a fast-paced environment really set my pace for how I operate. With a constant flow of orders always coming in, I learned quickly how to stay calm and not feel overwhelmed. And if any situation were to arise, I would be able to solve it with the best possible outcome in a timely manner. This later carried over to my experience as a seasonal Floor Manager at Goodies Chocolatier with the workplace being quite similar.After Starbucks and Goodies Chocolatier, I got the opportunity to work at Sunrise Senior Living, slowing down the pace of my environment, but increasing in many responsibilities. To care and look after 40+ residents, making sure their health, care, and well-being are all met made me really precise and organized. It was a position that could not forgive even the slightest mistake.Upon leaving Sunrise, I went to coaching for Lumberjaxes. Here is where I started learning the most about leadership and training. Taking groups of 10+ people into an arena for a sport they have never played before and teaching them everything they need to know to excel was quite the thrill. Most importantly, making sure that no matter the skill level of the players, my top priority was to make sure that everyone was having fun and being safe.Lastly, after the COVID, I ended up going to Casper, my first retail job after many years. Casper has been an absolute pleasure for me, I've learned so much from being here. Even the skills that I had before got enhanced to further my capabilities. From customer satisfaction, leadership, and training, to new skills such as visual merchandising and sales analytics, my time has been and shall continue to favor my satisfaction to learn and develop further into the future.
