Patched and tested Linux kernel for an Intel Atom (Cherry Trail) device line (Amazon Echo Show). Debugged Android running on said Atom devices: flashing through USB/dediprog, running tests, collecting data, debugging at the hardware level.Developed a Python command line tool to generate Intel chipset configuration binaries.

Ported several Intel open source software packages and kernel patches from Yocto Linux to Ubuntu. Created several new Debian/Ubuntu packages and built several Ubuntu and Yocto kernels. Tested and verified an embedded device running the ported software. Developed an efficient build process to compile/package the software so it can be easily modified by Intel and its customers. Undergraduate TA for ENGR141 (Fall) and ENGR142 (Spring). Graded the work of two teams of four engineering students each semester. Helped students by answering questions and providing feedback, and assisted with in-class activities and technical assignments. Collaborated with the teaching team to develop, run and maintain grading scripts (Python, C, and MATLAB).

Created a drone-to-drone and drone-to-aircraft collision avoidance system from scratch using Python. Developed a graphical simulation environment to test and visualize the system. Implemented encoding/decoding of several different data formats. Implemented complex maths for global position and relative position. Worked between Windows and Linux. Worked with Yocto embedded system and built customized OS for specific needs. Collaborated with the team using git version control and bug/feature trackers.
