Project Management:-Developed test plan (based on IEEE 829 format) and test procedures for Advanced Engineering Control System (AECS) testing in land-based test facility prior to shipboard installation, as well as procedures for shipboard testing after system installation. All procedures were developed adhering to a very stringent pre-determined testing schedule in the land-based test facility and onboard ship. Procedures were developed for NSWCCD, Philadelphia, Code 959. AECS designed for installation on LSD Class U.S. Navy ships to replace existing control system which is rapidly becoming obsolete. AECS is a digital, PLC-based control system comprised for the following subsystems: Local Area Network (LAN), Machinery Control System (MCS), Ship Controls System (SCS), and On-Board Trainer (OBT).CAD Lead:- Established drafting standards and format to satisfy all U.S. Navy drawing specifications and standards.- Monitored drawing development to ensure all Autocad operators completed drawings in accordance with all established standards and formats.- Prepared and provided quality assurance on installation drawings for U.S. Navy ICAS project. Generated drawings for equipment installation, foundation, electrical power and isometric cabling, LAN wiring and arrangement, fuel meter piping mods and block wiring diagrams and ripout incidental to installation.-Edited all drawings for various revisions and as-builts as required.-Generated various ship systems piping drawings for On-Board Trainer developed by NSWCCD, Philadelphia for the U.S. Navy. Drawings were prepared for the purpose of development of Graphical User Interface screens for the On-Board Trainer.-Prepared Engineering Plant Control System installation drawings for the U.S. Navy.

Worked as CAD technician for various Department of Energy projects.-Scheduled and prepared design drawings for electrical, I&C, and mechanical systems. Electrical systems included a state-of-the-art innovative technology utilizing large trailer-mounted electrical distribution system to support large scale demonstration project, as well as typical commercial power distribution systems, I&C designs utilized PLC-based technology to provide real-time status of systems and state of health equipment monitoring. Design drawings were prepared using customer-specified format and style and were fully compatible to Autocad version 12.-Performed networking set up and ensured network connectivity of workstations and hosts.-Performed troubleshooting and resolved LAN problems on systems utilizing MS-DOS, Windows 95, and Windows NT.-Provided technical and administrative support of Windows NT and 4.0 servers.- Developed and implemented a program to ensure Y2K compliance of workstations, servers, and software.
