I am working on my dissertation in completion of a Ph.D. in History from the University of North Dakota. I am an historian by training, holding Bachelor's and Master's degrees in History. I specialize in military history, American history, rural history, public history, and local history. I am also a member of Sons of the American Legion. I also conduct Civil War living history displays for local and state historical sites and museums.
