Reported on the rise of concussion in rugby and football as well as the link between repeated head traumas and the onset of neurodegenerative diseases including interviews with former players affected by concussion. Campaign led to rugby authorities revising many of their protocols and greater public awareness of the dangers of concussion.

- Responsible for delivering over 5,000 words of editorial content a week to the Rugby Paper, helping it to become the country's biggest selling rugby publication. - Content included front-page exclusives as well as feature interviews and ghost-written columns with former international players. - Organised the Rugby Paper's weekly match list of up to 60 matches and their network of correspondents.- Content manger for the RBS 6 Nations and RaboDirect PRO12 websites. Well versed in navigating content management systems as well as the demands of online publication. Traffic to the RBS 6 Nations website increased by 74% in the first year of my stewardship and was voted in the top three events websites by Sports Business magazine in 2010. - Covered the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi and London 2012 for over 50 regional newspapers, writing up to 30 stories a day often under extreme time pressure.- Worked on a number of campaigns leveraging Sportsbeat’s unique concept of sponsorship through editorial for clients including Hill & Knowlton, Octagon and Fast Track.
