Also providing support for other EU contracts through management… Show more Duties as a Controllership Intern included:• Completion and tracking of quarterly account reconciliations.• Creation and ownership of of a quarterly margin review project for all North EU contracts with completed analysis then presented to Global Operations Management.• Assisting internal audit analysis and main point of contact for all external auditors regarding UK and IRE contracts. Also providing support for other EU contracts through management of all cases received through online assistance tool.• Aiding implementation of ERP in East EU entities.• Supporting both monthly and quarterly closing activities. • Regular posting of journals on behalf of peers and processing reports sourced from various data systems including Hyperion, IBM Cognos and Oracle. Other achievements include taking the responsibility of heading the HealthAhead initiative at the Bracknell office, achieving official certification in December 2013 and also successfully working with a small team of interns to run the intern recruitment process for 2014 / 2015. Duties as a Customer Service Representative included:• Assessment and evaluation of investment plans held with HBOS.• Communication of financial data and plan specific information with a wide range of clients and those acting on their behalf such as solicitors, companies and independent financial advisors.

This was a full-time role held in-between semesters whilst studying at University. The duties of a Claims Manager included:• Analysis of data relating to annuities providing life cover for policyholders.• Management of claim over expected six week process beginning on notification of policyholder’s passing.
