Supervision of simulation models with respect to maneuver, aviation, fires, logistics, and intelligence operations. Translates real world enemy and friendly force structures into a realistic training venue in support of ongoing deployments by operational forces as they prepare to deploy around the globe. Provides analysis and oversight into functional areas (e.g., aviation, ground combat, command and control, combat service support, intelligence, and opposing forces) and identifies strengths and weaknesses as they occur during a simulation-supported event.  Research documents and extract factual data for composition of military forces for a model/simulation. Edits doctrinal manuscripts, analyzes problem areas, and postulates feasible solutions for simulation and training events.  Participates in and conduct reviews and structured walk-through of simulation events and training, operation orders and plans, and information gathering requirements.  Provides analysis during exercises and may attend conferences and meetings at resident site and other locations off-site. Advises military Division Heads on the procurement of new simulation models or upgrades to current simulation models (this includes drafting, test plans, conducting tests, publishing test results, and maintaining and archiving of simulation based training scenarios including organizational databases, tactics, weapon system capabilities, doctrine, and force structures for use in preparation of strategic or tactical exercises.  Translates operations orders into simulation databases.  .  Understand and coordinate the use of the following systems in support of Fires training: AFATDS, C2 System Injectors, JADOCS, TLDHS, DSAN, FBCB2-BFT, and Audio/Visual Equipment.  Supervise the development of instructional material and instructs on the installation, operation, and maintenance of systems within the Command.  .

Installs, operates, and maintains the following operating systems: Unix (Solaris 8-10), VM Ware (ESX & ESXi) and Windows NT/2000/XP/Server 2003/Server 2008. Provides system administration and network support for classroom and C4I systems: IOS v1, IOS v2, GCCS, C2PC Gateway, Command Post of the Future (CPOF) Mid Tier Caching Server, CPOF Client Workstations, Marinelink, CIDNE, JDLM, VBS2, MTWS, AFATDS, FBCB2, Joint Capabilities Release, IOW (Operations and Intel) Client Workstations, and GCCS Client Workstation. Maintains military tactical systems and associated workstations by installing, configuring, and troubleshooting each respective system in accordance with supporting technical documentation. Rebuilds systems for future exercises. Provides subject matter expertise, feedback, and input to Program Managers for the following C4I systems: IOS, GCCS, C2PC Gateway, Command Post of the Future (CPOF) Mid Tier Caching Server, CPOF Client Workstations, Marinelink, CIDNE, VBS2, MTWS, AFATDS, FBCB2, Joint Capabilities Release, IOW (Operations and Intel) Client Workstations and IGCCS Client Workstation.Plans, develops, and implements C2 systems network architecture in support of multiple site exercises. Develops instructional material and instructs on the installation, operation, and maintenance of Unix (Solaris), VM Ware (ESX & ESXi), IOS v1, IOS v2, IOW, C2PC Gateway, Command Post of the Future (CPOF) Mid Tier Caching Server, CPOF Client Workstations,FBCB2, Marinelink, CIDNE, AFATDS, IOW (Operations and Intel) Client Workstations and GCCS Client Workstation. Develops, testes, and evaluates interoperability procedures for these systems.
